Big Shoe Splurge Vs. Big Shoe Steal: Color-blocking

color blocking trend for big feet

Miranda Kerr, Eva Longoria and Alisha Keys all taking the color-blocking trend to the streets.

We love the color-blocking trend.  You’ll have seen this trend of two or more solid colors worn together over the last few season on everything from shoes, to one piece of clothing, to an entire color-blocked outfit, for example say a turquoise skirt with a pink top. It’s also great for achieving a big shoe transformation for big feet.

With their bold colors and two or three-tone contrasting hues, color blocked shoes add an unexpected touch to any ensemble. The trend has taken the runway and streets by storm over the last few seasons and refuses to quit as the fashion pack’s favorite. Paired with any simple outfit, color-blocked shoes add an instant eye-catching sassiness and you can wear the trend every which way: from a more demure color pairing like black and white for more formal events and bright shades for a girls’ night out.

Color-blocked shoes are also super flattering for large feet because the contrasting colors visually breaks up the line of a long shoe make it appear shorter. It is also a trend easily applied to classically flattering big shoe shapes.
